ABOUT PFEC
Immediately after graduating from Northeastern State University's School of Optometry, Dr. Casey Wright started working for a large optometry practice in Texas. During this time, she felt that insurance companies were essentially dictating the amount of time she spent with her patients, and also the materials used for eyewear. This did not sit well with her. She wanted to be able to care for patients to the best of her ability without any insurance restrictions prohibiting her ability to provide individualized care.
In 2016, Dr. Wright founded Premier Family Eye Care (PFEC) by purchasing Dr. Neil Krieger's practice in Durant, OK. This allowed her a jumping off point in her home state to provide the kind of in-depth unrestricted care she had dreamt about.
In 2019, Dr. Wright was able to purchase Dr. Gina Kincheloe's practice, making her one of the fastest growing optometric practices in Texoma.
Although PFEC is growing, Dr. Wright still believes small practices lead to better patient care and that an intimate patient setting allows her to know her patients, instead of knowing them only by a chart.
